About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full time Dietitian Nutritionist at Piedmont Macon Medical Center in Macon, GA . This 350-bed hospital provides compassionate, patient-centered care across a wide range of specialties, including an advanced cardiac center, spine care, maternity and rehabilitation programs. This position is ideal for both a new Dietitian, as well as an experienced Dietitian. Health Benefits start on Day 1! 3 weeks’ vacation and three personal days! Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in GA
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills, be a self-starter, and a team player
The ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Responsibilities

Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments per the Nutrition Care Process model
Provide education to patients, as well as staff and work well with physicians, nursing, and other ancillary staff 
Participate in weekend and holiday rotation.
