About The Position

The Dietetic Technician role assists with the nutrition intervention of patients on assigned patient care units. Responsible for performing nutritional screening, implementing and monitoring compliance to care plans, educating patients and their families, and communicating with interdisciplinary team members. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Dietetic Technician or acceptable college level training in Nutrition required.
  • Licensure by the State of Maine is required.

Nice To Haves

  • American Dietetic Association accredited program preferred.
  • Must possess a basic understanding of the metric system.
