This department specializes in outpatient nutrition counseling on pediatric nutrition issues. They also provide inpatient assessments and education as well as some on-going support with outpatient follow-up. A technical position which assumes responsibility for the nutritional well being of patients receiving sustenance provided by the department of Nutrition Services. This includes direct tray service, foods stocked on the patient unit, and all enteral formulas. Responsibilities include: monitoring computer messages and processing orders, completing nutrition screenings and assessments, taking Room Service calls and processing orders, menu correction, calorie count calculations, establishing nourishment's as needed, calculation and preparation of enteral formulas, provides nutrition education as appropriate, maintains high level of patient satisfaction and quality assurance and participates in related patient care activities. Requirements

  • Dietary Aid experience or a student in a current dietetic program.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred.
