About The Position

Now Hiring: Dietary Supervisor Lead the Culinary Team at East Bay Post Acute Are you an experienced culinary leader with a passion for nutrition and healthcare? East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Dietary Supervisor to oversee our kitchen operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our residents receive high-quality, medically appropriate meals in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Hospital setting.
  • At least one year in a Management/Supervisory position.
  • Proficiency in computer-based tray systems and dietary software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and maintain high standards under regulatory scrutiny.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen activities, including food procurement and ordering.
  • Enforce strict labeling/dating protocols and "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) storage techniques.
  • Manage staffing schedules, oversee employee performance, and lead in-service education on proper food handling.
  • Maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule to ensure superior kitchen sanitation and infection control.
  • Monitor tray-line accuracy to ensure every resident receives the correct medical diet.
  • Lead the kitchen through the Skilled Nursing State Survey process with excellence.
  • Manage the dietary budget, including food spend-down and inventory control.
