About The Position
Works under the direction of the Food Service Director to ensure appropriate supervision and operation of the Dietary Department. At Taconic Nursing and Rehab at Beacon , we believe meals are more than nourishment—they're moments of comfort, connection, and care. We're looking for a Dietary Supervisor who brings both culinary skill and compassionate leadership to our kitchen and dining teams.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service supervision (healthcare setting preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A passion for creating a positive dining experience for residents

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring delicious, nutritious meals are served with care
- Manage and support dietary staff with scheduling, training, and guidance
- Ensure compliance with DOH, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to meet the dietary needs of our residents
