About The Position

We are seeking a Dietary Storeroom Clerk, sometimes referred to as Hospital Warehouse Clerk or Food Service Storeroom Clerk. Dietary Storeroom Clerk support the hospital’s Dietary department by maintaining proper inventory levels and ensuring dietary areas are stocked with needed food and supplies. This role is responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing products while following food storage safety guidelines and keeping all storage areas clean and organized. On non-delivery days, assist in the dishwashing area with cleaning and support duties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
County Specific requirement: County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current

Responsibilities

Maintain food and supply inventory based on established par levels and department needs
Order, receive, stock, and distribute food and dietary supplies to designated areas
Ensure all items are stored according to food safety and storage guidelines
Keep storerooms, coolers, freezers, and supply areas clean, orderly, and well organized
Monitor stock rotation, checks product dates, and helps prevent shortages or waste
