About The Position

Receives, checks temperatures, maintains receiving logs and unloads and stocks and rotates all items from delivery. Utilizes First In, First Out product rotation standards to ensure food safety when stocking products. Maintains storerooms, walk- in refrigerators and freezers daily which includes the following: power washing, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of racks and walls. Responsible for product labeling, dating and pulling for production. Operates pallet jack and carts. Requirements

  • Work requires ability to read, write, speak English, and perform arithmetic computations well enough to review invoices and maintain inventory control.
  • Three to six months' storekeeping experience.
  • One to four weeks' on-the-job experience with the Hospital.
  • Must have Hospital driver's license for the operation of tugger and electric cart.
  • Work requires physical ability to very frequently lift, move, and carry moderately heavy objects.
