Lafayette Physical Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Cook to perform assigned duties under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager in a Hospital setting. Requirements

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Additional languages are desirable.
Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and guest trays in compliance with dietary specifications prudent to all diets.
Cleans and sanitizes utensils, equipment, and station after each mealtime and as required.
Assist with tray line service for patients, employees, and guests.
Assures patients receive proper diets as ordered.
Communicates with the Dietary Manager and the Registered Dietician on a regular basis to ensure trays are delivered at appropriate times with the appropriate diets.
