About The Position
Neulife Rehabilitation is looking for a dedicated Dietary Cook/Utility Worker to join our team. This role involves preparing nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and maintaining an organized kitchen environment. As part of our team, you will contribute to the well-being and recovery of individuals in a fast-paced and supportive setting.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cooking and food preparation in a commercial or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for providing quality service and care to others.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and portion control guidelines.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining areas.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure safe food handling.
- Assist with serving meals to residents and maintaining kitchen utility tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet the dietary needs of residents.
