About The Position
Assistant and performs cooking duties in the food and nutritional service area following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements. Prepares all breakfast food items for cafeteria. Serves inpatient breakfast tray line. Assembles and prepares all fried foods. Assist with preparation of specialty sandwiches. Prepares all bread, potato side items, and gravy. Washes all items needed in preparing foods. Assist cook in delivering food items to cafeteria.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- 1-year experience in institutional food service cooking
- Diet Technician certification
