About The Position
Hello, Cascades at St Anne in Seattle, WA is actively looking to hire a part-time Dietary Cook. At Cascades at St Anne, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. Job Description: Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service Test new recipes Clean the kitchen; put away/organize food deliveries Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the foodservice production area is safe and sanitary Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order Must be flexible and willing to work weekends
Requirements
- One year of recent cooking experience in a high-volume environment
- Food Handler's Permit required
- High School diploma
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides, as needed
- Possess a great attitude while providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service
- Passion to learn and grow within the cooking profession
- Must be flexible and willing to work weekends
