GCHS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Assistant Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Food & Nutrition Services department within a healthcare setting. This role ensures high-quality meal service for patients, residents, and staff while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare dietary standards, food safety regulations, and sanitation guidelines. The ideal candidate is an organized leader with experience in healthcare food service who is passionate about patient satisfaction, nutrition, and team development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned. Regularly assists with floor duties, including the following: Is cross-trained to work in any capacity in the kitchen, including Dietary Aide, Cook, and Dishwasher positions, in the event of needing to fill in on the floor in emergency situations. Cooks food in quantities according to recipes and the number of people to be served. Helps with washing dishes and ensuring the kitchen is clean and meets regulatory infection control standards. Prepares and serves food appropriately and according to all quality standards. Assists floor staff in serving meals. Helps deliver Meals on Wheels when needed. Follows recipes appropriately and cooks food to proper temperatures without overcooking.
