About The Position

White Oak Manor York is looking for fill a position as Dietary Aide and Dietary Cook to join our team and make a difference in the lives of the residents we care for. Previous experience in providing dietary services in the long-term care industry is a plus but is not required. We're looking for passionate, team-oriented individuals to join our team with a goal in providing the highest quality of care and services for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of food preparation, food special diets, follow menu, food safe and sanitation, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality service and cleanliness. We're looking for a self-motivated team player who works well under pressure and is able to maintain a fast pace in our active kitchen. In this role you help prepare a variety of daily meals, as well as maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with inventory and other tasks as needed. Experience: Six months experience preferably in institutional food preparation or related field. White Oak Manor of York is an Alcohol, Drug and Tobacco Free campus.
