Dietary Aide / Kitchen Assistant Full-Time First Shift (7a-7p) and Part-Time (Friday, Sunday, Monday) Looking for our next all-star employee with assisted living experience. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to the established menu and dietary guidelines.
- Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals.
- Ensure that all food is served at the appropriate temperature and in a visually appealing manner.
- Engage with residents to understand their food preferences, dietary restrictions, and any special needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any resident concerns or feedback regarding meals.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, following all sanitation and safety standards.
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow proper food handling and hygiene practices to ensure the safety and quality of food.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of food inventory, meal counts, and special dietary requests.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the Dietary Manager.
- Adhere to all facility policies, including those related to infection control, food safety, and hygiene.
- Participate in training and education programs to stay current with food service regulations and best practices.
