About The Position

Diesel Technician – ACTS Fleet Maintenance 2nd Shift 10am - 8pm Serious Shop. Serious Pay. Serious Technicians Only. At ACTS Fleet Maintenance, we’re building a team of elite diesel technicians who take pride in doing the job right the first time. We don’t micromanage. We don’t cut corners. We respect experience, invest in training, and pay professionals what they’re worth. We’re hiring an experienced Diesel Technician to join our growing Nashville team. You’ll handle real diagnostics and real repairs — not just parts swapping. Perform scheduled PMs and comprehensive fleet inspections Diagnose and repair Class 1–Class 8 trucks & fleet equipment Engines (diesel & gas), electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, suspension, steering & drivetrains Use OEM diagnostic software (Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, Mitsubishi, etc.) Conduct road tests and verify quality control standards Document repairs accurately and professionally Maintain a clean, organized, safety-first workspace Communicate clearly with service advisors and leadership This role operates with minimal micromanagement. If you’re experienced, we trust you to manage your workflow like a professional.

Requirements

  • Proven diesel technician experience (15+ years preferred for top-tier pay)
  • Strong diagnostic ability using laptops & dealer-level software
  • Ability to perform full-spectrum repairs independently
  • ASE certifications highly valued (and compensated)
  • Must provide personal hand tools
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and standing as required

Responsibilities
