About The Position

Kenly 95 Petro TA Service Center is looking for a reliable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic to join our busy service center. If you enjoy working on trucks, staying active on the shop floor, and being part of a team that values quality work and safety, this role is for you. In this position, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and tire services on diesel trucks and commercial vehicles in a fast-paced, well-equipped shop. Requirements

Previous experience in diesel maintenance, tire services, or lube services is a plus—but we’re willing to train the right candidate
Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand and power tools
Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine preventative maintenance on diesel trucks
Inspect, remove, replace, balance, and align tires
Check and maintain fluid levels (coolant, transmission, brake fluids, etc.)
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and clearly report findings
Use shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Keep the service area clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant
Follow all company safety policies and industry standards
Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service when needed
