About The Position
Transport Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI) is hiring Diesel Technicians / Diesel Mechanics / Reefer Technicians for our Oak Creek shop. As a certified Thermo King dealer, we offer paid training, factory certifications, and career growth opportunities. You’ll work on refrigeration units, APUs, diesel heaters, and cab A/C systems—keeping America’s supply chain moving.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic mechanical skills + personal tools (standard & metric)
- Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Diagnose & repair transport refrigeration, A/C, heaters, and APUs
- Perform road service calls (after training)
- Follow safety & quality standards in a clean, organized shop
- Meet standard repair times
- Operate tools, hoists, and shop equipment safely
- Keep the shop clean, efficient, and professional
- Additional duties as assigned
