Xylem is looking for a Diesel Service Center Technician to report to our Lakeland, FL location to service and maintain our Commercial/Industrial Pumps. What your day will look like as a Diesel Service Center Technician The Diesel Service Center Technician will be responsible for the on-site troubleshooting, repair, and tracking of our commercial/industrial pumps and their corresponding mechanical and electrical components. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous experience working in a commercial or industrial mechanical environment is especially encouraged. This position operates on a standard day shift Monday-Friday. The Diesel Service Center Technician will be responsible for providing their own tools. Requirements

HS diploma or equivalent
1-3 years diesel mechanic experience preferred
Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment
Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision; self-motivated and self-directed
Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
The Diesel Service Center Technician will be responsible for providing their own tools.
