About The Position

As a Mechanic at SavATree, your focus will be ensuring all equipment and vehicles are ready and operating efficiently through proper maintenance and repairs. A typical day may include: • Performing preventative maintenance and major repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment • Coordinating repairs and maintenance with Managers and field specialists • Reviewing Vehicle Inspection Reports to prioritize work and address issues promptly • Ordering and receiving parts and supplies, completing required paperwork for the office and vendors • Training field specialists on equipment maintenance and safe vehicle operation whenever possible • Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in the shop and yard This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in caring for their own fleet and equipment while supporting a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Experience in small engine repair and two-stroke engine maintenance
  • Diesel engine repair and maintenance experience
  • Experience operating and maintaining aerial lift (bucket) trucks
  • Experience with spray equipment, tanks, and pumps
  • Your own basic tools for engine repair and maintenance
  • Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, diagnostic charts, and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues
  • A valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
  • Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding experience
  • ASE certification

Responsibilities
