Diesel Mechanic Maint 2nd Shift (B Shift)/Full Time/ (Humboldt Truck Shop) Humboldt, TN
About The Position
This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Schedule-Sunday to Thursday, sometimes Fridays- 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Physical Requirements Standing, Walking, Bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, push, pulling, stooping, squatting and reaching are required in all areas. Lifting 40+ pounds are required in all areas Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance Working Conditions: Must be able to work in all-weather/ climate, conditions from very cold to very hot. Must be able to work in a dusty environment. Working Conditions: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of (1) year of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 1 year).
- 90 days wait period from last termination date
- 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
