We'll begin hiring skilled and motivated Diesel Technicians starting August 2025 to help launch and grow our newest service shop! Whether you're experienced or just starting your journey, this is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a brand-new team. From Utah to Pennsylvania, Sapp Bros. is a trusted name in heavy-duty truck and trailer repair. As a Diesel Technician in our new Toquerville shop, you'll be the heartbeat of the operation. Your work will ensure our customers stay on the road, while you help shape a strong, high-performing team from day one.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • 1+ years of experience in diesel or automotive repair (preferred).
  • ASE certifications (preferred but not required).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • A great attitude, reliable work ethic, and customer-focused mindset.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other issues in diesel trucks and trailers.
  • Replace and balance tires according to proper safety procedures.
  • Complete repairs on starters, brakes, axles, generators, and universal joints.
  • Communicate with service writers and customers to explain repair needs.
  • Perform emergency roadside service when needed.
  • Support and train new technicians as the team grows.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
