About The Position

Johnson Truck Center, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a B level Diesel Mechanics / Technicians at their location in Manassas, Virginia. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Autocar, and Battle Motors. Requirements

• previous experience as a technician
• B level Diesel Mechanics / Technicians
• Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential
• Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness
• Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
