About The Position

The company operates several business units including Miller Truck Leasing, Miller Dealerships, Miller Dedicated Services, and Miller Brokerage Services. This specific position is for a Diesel Mechanic Technician within the Miller Truck Leasing division, located in Manchester, NH. Miller Transportation Group boasts over 100 years of experience, manages upwards of 8,000 trucks, and operates over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops across multiple states.
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
- Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
- A valid CDL (Class A or B)
- Have your own tools
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles, as well as refrigeration vehicles
- Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
- Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
- Replace clutches & transmissions
