About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to assist our current mechanic with maintaining and repairing our fleet. The ideal candidate must have hands-on diesel mechanic experience and strong overall mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities include assisting with diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on diesel engines, forklifts and heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Must have mechanical knowledge, and aptitude to learn new mechanical skills.
• Collaborate and work effectively with team members.
• Must be able to read manuals, directions, plans, and related documents.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Must be able to be onsite daily.
• Knowledge of repair on equipment such as forklifts and other related equipment.
• Experience using a variety of mechanical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check.
