Requirements

  • Valid drivers license required
  • At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required
  • Welding experience required
  • Air Brake Certification required
  • Must have proper tools
  • Availability to work evening and weekend shifts

Nice To Haves

  • DOT Inspector Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on malfunction or breakdown on trucks and trailers.
  • Preventative Maintenance.
  • Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals.
  • Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards.
  • Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components.
  • Complete annual inspections.
