About The Position

Air Specialty & Equipment is seeking an experienced technician to join their team in Gregory, TX. This position requires 1-3 years of experience working on diesel engines or industrial air compressors.

The position is Monday - Friday, but the ideal candidate will be willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as needed. You will need a valid driver's license and be TWIC card eligible.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of hands on working with diesel engines or air compressors
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of diesel electrical diagnostics
• Must own basic tools suitable for diesel engine / air compressor repairs
• Driver’s license / Clean driving record
• TWIC card eligible (Air Specialty will provide if needed)
• Ability to lift 75+ LBS. and work in physical demanding environment.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and work overhead

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on equipment & company vehicles
• Repair equipment & company vehicles
• Field PM’s and repairs on equipment
• Clean shop / work bays & keep work areas organized
• Washing equipment & company vehicles
• Delivery of equipment to jobsite
• Set-up equipment on jobsite
• Must consistently report to work on time and maintain reliable attendance
