About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Air Compressor Technician with strong skills in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial air compressor systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with screw and centrifugal compressors, as well as air dryers from manufacturers such as Atlas Copco, FS-Elliott, and Ingersoll Rand. This role also requires basic knowledge of compressor control systems, drain systems, and related electrical systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience with screw and centrifugal compressors and knowledge of air dryers from brands like Atlas Copco, FS-Elliott, and Ingersoll Rand
• Basic understanding of compressor control systems, drain systems, and related electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in industrial environments, and be available for occasional overtime or on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on screw and centrifugal compressors
• Service and troubleshoot air dryers (Atlas Copco, FS-Elliott, Ingersoll Rand)
• Diagnose and repair issues with compressor control systems, drain systems, and related electrical components
• Monitor system performance, identify problems, and recommend improvements
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies during repair and maintenance activities
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new compressor systems as needed
