We offer a competitive benefits package including: Medical Dental Vision Life & Disability Supplemental Ins. 401k Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include any/all of the following: Monitor and maintain air compressor systems for pressurized cable networks, including central office and industrial remote site equipment. Diagnose and perform designated repairs and maintenance on customer or company-owned equipment. Install, calibrate, and service air dryers, compressors, manifolds, air receivers, filtration, and monitoring alarm systems. Conduct regular inspections and testing of pressurized piping cable routes to detect and repair air leaks. Maintain accurate records of air pressure readings, maintenance activities, and repairs. Respond to air compressor emergencies, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to restore normal operation. Coordinate with network maintenance and construction teams to support system upgrades or relocations. Monitor job expenses against repair estimates and notify the supervisor of any cost overruns prior to job completion. Communicate with the Sales team regarding mechanical repairs and equipment upgrades. Use a multimeter to measure volts, amps, and ohms for diagnosing electrical issues and documenting data during preventive maintenance of equipment. Utilize a Megohm meter. Perform fluid sampling as required. Maintain the necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer specifications. Follow all safety rules and procedures and operate electrical equipment in accordance with established safety regulations and department policies. Attend and complete required technician training classes. Maintain conduct conducive to teamwork and work performance. Train or mentor department personnel as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Apprentices shall perform all duties listed above under the guidance of a journeyman mechanic combined with on-the-job training and any additional schooling as required.
