Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.

Responsibilities

• Recognize responsibilities of other laboratory and health care personnel and interact with respect for their jobs and patient care.
• Must have the initiative and judgment to do assigned work.
• Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks as needed, which may include preparing and/or processing specimens.
• May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results.
• Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
• Need to keep abreast of new procedures in the department as well as changes in general Sanford policy and procedures.
