Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity, decreasing downtime and waste.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product meets required dimensions and there are zero material defects.
• Responsible for the precise setup, cleaning and troubleshooting of print plates used in the production of corrugated packaging.
• Accurate position and bond photopolymer plates onto carrier sheets or cylinders.
• Review work order and specification to select correct plates, cylinders, and tape.
• Prepares tooling for upcoming jobs, including cleaning, inspecting, and repairing dies.
• Inspect tooling product for defects such as misalignment, verity registration, and perform proofing to ensure print accuracy.
• Clean, maintain, and store plates, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Repair plates as needed and assist press operators with mounting issues.
• Meet production speed targets, such as mounting withing a specified timeframe per plate.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Work at machine centers when needed.
• Problems are solved when issues arise with machines.
• Read and respond to emails.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Starting salary for position: $24.86 per hour.
• Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per year. Vacation awarded after successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
