Position Summary: Skilled Die Maker with extensive experience in designing, building, repairing, and maintaining precision dies using advancedCAD software. Proven ability to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure high-quality tooling performance through precision craftsmanship and process optimization.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in die making and precision tooling
Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
Impact or Cimex software experience
CNC Programming & Operation
Surface Grinding & Precision Machining
GD&T and Blueprint Reading

Responsibilities

Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
Manufacture, assemble, and test progressive, compound, and transfer dies
Troubleshoot and repair dies to minimize production downtime
Milling on router table
Conduct die tryouts and perform necessary adjustments to meet production standards
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling design
Maintain accurate documentation and revision records within CAD systems
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
