About The Position

Die Maintenance Associate General Description: The die prep employees are responsible for prepping dies to going outside and prepping dies before going to the press line. Die prep is to assist in all of die movement. This position requires flexibility to support all operational shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to bend, climb, and work on feet for extended time periods

Responsibilities

Support the company safety, environmental, and quality programs.
Prep dies that are going outside for storage.
Assist in die movement.
Prep and maintain dies for the press line.
Using overhead crane as needed. For example, opening, closing, flipping, and moving dies in and out of storage.
Shipping and receiving tooling and components.
Basic Tig Welding.
Identifying and correcting broken, dull, or chipped die components.
PM dies.
Inspecting chain and equipment.
Filling out PM and Visual Check Sheets.
Basic fork truck operation.
Minor repairs
Operating Tool Room equipment.
Other duties as deemed necessary by leadership.
