We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Die Cutter Operator to join o ur clients team in their manufacturing department. The successful person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation and successful manufacturing process.

  • Operates Offline Die Cutter Machine to develop end -result printed material in accordance with customer specifications:
  • Operate Die Cutter machine, troubleshoot and monitor operation.
  • Prepares Die Cutter by performing a variety of tasks to produce a consistent, high quality product by adjusting the die and register for pressure and cutting.
  • Perform a variety of make ready tasks for high productivity and precision operations, resolves defects and adjustments to produce high quality product.
  • Oversee General technicians working on equipment.
  • Make adjustments, clear jams, while processing product, maintaining speed and quality.
  • Ensure efficient and rapid make ready, with unloading and loading.
  • High School diploma (or GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years of offline Die Cutting experience in the folding carton industry
  • E xperience with die cutters that have blanking capability
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills (computing percentages, weights and measures)
  • Ability to operate Die Cutter machines, troubleshoot, and monitor operations
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending and/or reaching, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, hearing and speaking.
  • Frequent lifting in excess of 60 lbs
  • Must be able to hold, touch, feel and manipulate with hands product and equipment in a safe manner. Manual dexterity is required.
  • Use of close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus and good eye -hand coordination.
  • Must be able to rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills

  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality objectives
  • Familiarity with cGMP, HACCP Food Safety Requirements, and Chain of Custody Program Requirements
