About The Position

Function as die corrector Train other die shop employee Must be proficient at polishing. Read blueprints. Run milling machine, and grinder Complete die correcting – fixing flow, die lines, and finish problems Use nose piece to identify any finish or quality issues on extrusion runs Perform flow correction, correct angularity, waving, and runout Use test dies to ensure extrusions are correct Scrap and write up replacement dies and deliver to Die Shop Manager Ability to document knockoff forms with correction Use all tooling associated with the die shop. Maintain die storage area Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments related to production. All other duties as assigned.
