A day in the life You arrive at the die casting area and begin by setting up production equipment for the shift. A press needs adjustment, so you use your mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic know‑how to troubleshoot, repair, and return it to service. You review SPC charts, interpret trends, and fine‑tune the process to bring parts back into specification. Later, you complete preventive maintenance, perform bench work to touch up a fixture and a jig, and assist with a quick tool repair to keep quality and throughput on track.
