About The Position

Embody the mission, values and common purpose of the SOXtraordinary Squad who represent the Chicago White Sox. Manage game day operations on the Diamond Suite levels of the ballpark. Provide high-level customer service and immediate resolution on any issue for both the guest and Diamond Suite teammates.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma
  • 4+ Years of Customer Service Experience, supervisory experience preferred
  • Available for at least 80% of the events at Rate Field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be a positive and outgoing individual who is able to work well both individually as well as part of a team
  • Candidates must be comfortable being active for an entire event (5+ hours)
  • A positive attitude towards our beloved team.
  • Ideal candidate exhibits strong problem-solving skills and professional judgement
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Ability to promote a family atmosphere, guest enjoyment and safety to ensure game day satisfaction
  • Candidates must be comfortable being active for an entire event (7+ hours).
  • Must be able to fully perform the essential functions of the job

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests
  • Monitor safety rules and regulations (alcohol service, unruly behavior, maintenance issues and suite capacity)
  • Supply information to guests when needed
  • Ensure a thorough pre-game walk through, all suites are clean, operational, and safe for guest use
  • Have the highest standards of guest satisfaction and safety standards continue throughout the event
  • Throughout the game, the coordinator will monitor activities on their suite level
  • Assist Suite Guests, leading to Guest satisfaction (handling special request, questions, and directions, etc. as needed)
  • Cleanliness of suites, hallway, restrooms, and trash areas
  • Oversee the suite representatives assigned to their level and assist them by providing proper service to the guest, trying to solve any problematic situations, and helping them during peak periods
  • Properly securing each suite (closing and locking windows)
  • Checking for lost/found items in suites and returning them to podium.
