Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of relevant experience in hard capsule manufacturing.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools accurately.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use step ladders safely.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage feed tank changes to ensure a continuous supply of materials for capsule manufacturing.
- Perform in‑process quality checks and make disposition decisions following procedures.
- Measure, verify, and record capsule weights and dimensions during production.
- Conduct routine capsule sampling and metal detector checks to support product safety.
- Enter inventory and quality data using handheld devices and electronic systems.
- Monitor production systems and respond to alarms or deviations promptly.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain high standards.
