Ohio Medical Physics Consulting is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Medical Physicist to join our growing team based out of Pittsburgh, PA. The Role The Diagnostic Medical Physicist will support imaging centers and hospital departments (radiology, radiation oncology, cardiology, OR, etc.) by performing evaluations of a wide variety of imaging systems in all modalities to ensure compliance with state regulations, accreditation requirements, and relevant practice standards. The physicist will also evaluate and characterize image quality to ensure imaging equipment is operating at optimal performance levels, and provide consultation to clients regarding facility design, shielding requirements, assessment of supplemental shielding, patient and occupational radiation exposure, etc. This role is for primary coverage in the Pittsburgh, PA area and is an exempt position.
