About The Position

DEXA Technologist — Radiologic Technologist (Bone Density / Body Composition) Want a calmer pace, motivated clients, and a team that's actually fun to work with? As a DEXA Technologist at BodySpec, you'll specialize in preventive health scans in a startup environment where your work matters. Same clinical professionalism, better quality of life. First-year DEXA Technologists in NYC can expect to earn up to $120,099 in total cash compensation, plus equity. You'll Love This Job If You Have: Passion for Preventive Health: You believe health is about more than treating illness—you want to help people understand their bodies and reach their goals. Customer Service Instincts: You love one-on-one interaction and creating great experiences. You're warm, professional, and can make anyone feel comfortable—without the pressure of building your own book of business. Startup Energy: You're energized by variety and building something new. Traditional healthcare feels slow and bureaucratic to you. You want to be part of a small, dynamic team where your work actually matters. Grit and Flexibility: You don't mind early mornings or getting your hands dirty. You're resourceful—when something's broken, you fix it or propose solutions instead of waiting for someone else. BodySpec is transforming how people understand and improve their health through accessible DEXA scanning. We're building a nationwide network of DEXA technologists who deliver professional-grade body composition and bone density analysis in a way that's welcoming, not clinical. If you're a licensed Radiologic Technologist looking for a calmer pace, a great team, and real ownership at a fast-growing startup, we want to hear from you.
