Our team is looking for a motivated DevSecOps Engineer to support the infrastructure automation team with developing industry leading solutions for Aeronautics Advanced Development Programs. Automation is Lockheed Martin’s path to the future with its interconnected environment where data becomes information and information drives decisions that create value across the entire lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this position has worked in agile software development environments, taking ownership of their tasks/stories, and contributing to various products. Our product teams will work closely with their scrum master to identify tasking and plan future sprints. At times, they may need to work closely with the architects and process owners who have designed the solutions to firm up requirements or perform testing. This is a Hybrid role, with an on-site expectation at one of our secure facilities in Marietta, GA, Palmdale, CA, or Fort Worth, TX A problem solver who meets deadlines, communicates effectively, enjoys challenges, can work independently, and can learn new information and systems quickly will thrive in our high-performing software development team. Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Ability and willingness to obtain Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with DevSecOps practices and methodologies using (Git, Ansible, Ansible Tower, Terraform)
  • Scripting experience in Python, Bash, Power Shell
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code automation knowledge (Terraform)
  • Experience with configuration management
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline automation knowledge, working with GitLab, Nexus and Ansible
  • System testing, requirements verification, or Systems Engineering process experience
  • Proficiency with cloud computing AWS or Azure, Containerization with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, TKG, Docker
  • Knowledge working in secure classified environments
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum
  • Strong Communication Skills

Responsibilities

  • Successful development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of IT software components, incorporating agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts.
  • Containerization and automation of solution deployments in a continuous improvement/continuous development (CI/CD) environment.
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment as member of cross-functional, agile teams.
  • Partnering with team members to deliver technical solutions to project/backlog requirements.
  • Identifying and resolving technical challenges through innovative software solutions.
  • Perform in an agile software development environment including task estimation and documentation, daily scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives
