About The Position

The DevSecOps Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of Kapitus’ Salesforce ecosystem. This role serves as the technical bridge between business requirements and well-designed Salesforce solutions, driving system health, data integrity, and user adoption. As a key member of the Salesforce team, you will support ongoing enhancements, maintain high-quality deployments, and collaborate across all departments to ensure Salesforce continues to align with rapidly evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (5) years of service desk or technical support experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial services environment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Gearset and Salesforce deployment processes
  • Experience with Git/version control systems to support structured deployment processes
  • Prior system administration or software configuration experience required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in software systems and technology
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and changing business environments
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with AWS or Azure cloud environments

  • AWS Certified SysOps/Developer/Architect Administrator and/or AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) or Advanced Administrator
  • Gearset Fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day- Salesforce administration, including user setup, profiles, permissions, roles, workflows, validation rules, automation (Flows), and other configurations to streamline operations
  • Execute Salesforce deployments using Gearset and Salesforce Change Sets to maintain consistent, compliant release cycles
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain Gearset deployments and third-party integrations
  • Manage data imports, migrations, and bulk updates, ensuring high levels of data accuracy and integrity
  • Conduct recurring data audits and cleanup activities to ensure ongoing database health
  • Establish and enforce data entry standards, deduplication processes, and governance practices
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, page layouts, and configurations to support new business functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure system stability
  • Maintain Salesforce platform updates, security standards, release features, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and create training materials for end users
  • Cloud architecture experience in AWS environment and container-based deployments using AWS CodePipeline and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with various AWS services like ECS, S3, Lambda, and Route53

  • Competitive Base Salary Range of $96,300-$154,400 Kapitus is providing this as a good faith salary range to comply with applicable law. The applicant’s final salary will depend on a number of factors including the applicant’s geographic location, skills, and experience.
