We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to drive reliability, observability, and automation across large-scale hybrid cloud environments. This role focuses on improving uptime, reducing mean time to recovery (MTTR), streamlining incident management, and supporting large-scale cloud migrations. You will work across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments, building resilient infrastructure and ensuring mission-critical applications meet strict availability and performance standards.

Requirements

  • Strong background in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Deep experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar).
  • Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
  • Solid scripting/automation skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage dependencies, and deliver in complex environments.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the VA ecosystem—especially VA Platform One, enterprise GitHub practices, VA.gov [//VA.gov] standards, or DevSecOps models— is a plus.
