About The Position

As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will Respond to incoming support requests via email, prioritizing issues based on severity Troubleshoot technical issues, escalating to the appropriate product or engineering teams when appropriate and driving issues to resolution Support developers that post questions in community forum Work with third party developers who build fantastic apps that solve real world problems and be the primary technical contact for issues or questions that arise along the way Answer questions around Clover’s Platform Technologies, including REST APIs & SDKs (Windows, iOS, Android, etc.) Participate in the planning and building of examples and demo apps that showcase our features and best practices Participate in the planning and building internal tools that will help streamline our support model Approve New Developer Accounts & 3rd Party Applications utilizing existing framework with the Fiserv Legal and Compliance teams to ensure risk is within acceptable limits You will lead, drive and manage projects end to end ranging from discovery calls through implementation of the app into production. While you will not be building the app directly you will be advising the 3rd party developer on how to integrate and or build utilizing our Clover APIs You will work cross functionally across the pan-Fiserv organization to ensure proper collaboration and accuracy in understanding the intent of the app This role works cross functionally with various teams at Clover, including Technical Writers, Squad Engineers and Product Managers who help provide in-depth technical knowledge in a responsive and close knit environment. Requirements

  • General interest in supporting third party developers and making them successful on a platform
  • BS in Math, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent degree and experience)
  • Demonstrable programming skills and technical support experience are acceptable in lieu of a BS in Math or Computer Science
  • Candidates must be comfortable writing simple code snippets, and be conversant in simple data structure and algorithm choices
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Be available and flexible to work in an Operation environment focused on support
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Previous experience in software development or software consulting and support
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
  • Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Android or IOS knowledge is Plus
  • Competency in one of these languages: Java, Python, PHP, C#, Javascript, NodeJs

  • Become an expert in our products
  • Work on high priority technical Escalations
  • Work with our Technical Writers to improve documentation for our developer platform
  • Engage with our Ops & Engineering teams to investigate challenging technical puzzles
  • Deliver data-driven, impactful results
