Team Overview: Impinj is seeking a DevOps Engineering Intern specializing in developing a DevOps software release pipeline to join our PTE team . This role will work closely with key mentors on the team . In this position, you will focus on creating an automated process that helps manage how software is built, tested, and deployed.

Requirements

• Current BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-3+ years of relevant coursework experience
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or automation concepts
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash)

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with cloud platforms or container technologies is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a simple DevOps pipeline to support software development activities
• Help automate steps in the development process, such as building, testing, and deploying software
• Work with version control systems to manage and track code changes
• Learn and use DevOps tools and platforms under guidance from the team
• Document the solution in a clear and easy-to-understand format
• Present the completed pipeline and explain how it works

• The start date is firm; the end date is flexible to end early.
