Excelity is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a project responsible for building the next generation Collection Management Systems for an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph, or TS with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph
  • Current 8570 IAT Level II or higher cert such as CompTIA Security+ CE for Privileged User Access (PUA)
  • Programming Language Experience including – but not limited to – Java, Python (Poetry, Flask, etc.) and JavaScript (emphasis on React ecosystem libraries)
  • AWS technologies: Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, DocumentDB,
  • Experience using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Git, Jenkins, Gitlab

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a Scrum team to develop and enhance enterprise systems.
  • Apply best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, and DevSecOps.
  • Automate testing and integration using Open Source and COTS tools.
  • Develop and integrate bug fixes and new features using tools like Java, Git, and Junit.
