About The Position

As a DevOps Engineer, you will build and scale the infrastructure behind Regard’s platform. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, implement and maintain reliable, high-performing systems, and support CI/CD workflows across the engineering organization. This role will play a key part in enabling smooth deployment of our platform into customer environments and improving the tooling and processes that support those integrations. You will collaborate closely with engineering and customer IT partners to ensure our infrastructure is secure, resilient, and able to scale. Regard is an AI-powered Proactive Documentation platform that advances how care is delivered by reviewing all patient data in the EHR to recommend diagnoses and surface clinical evidence. Regard drafts a note even before the physician sees the patient, enabling an approach that gets documentation right at the point of care - we call it Proactive Documentation. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar
• Experience deploying and operating containerized workloads using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, or EKS
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure in a production environment
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems and scripting
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for owned infrastructure and services

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to startup and/or high growth environments
• Experience with AWS services (serverless, etc), and OpenAI services
• Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST)

Responsibilities

• Build and scale cloud infrastructure supporting Regard’s product platform
• Own delivery of small to medium infrastructure projects; partner with senior engineers on larger, more complex initiatives
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code for provisioning services and environments
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling
• Support customer infrastructure deployments and integrations
• Improve infrastructure code quality through proactive fixes, refactoring, and technical debt reduction
• Participate in operational support, monitoring, incident response, and on-call rotations
