DevOps Engineer The Cloud Security Engineer supports cloud-based environments and DevSecOps infrastructure. This role involves supporting the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of modern, automated IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with Linux systems, cloud service providers and scripting languages, and a strong desire to grow their technical skill set in a DevOps and cloud engineering environment. Assist in the design, deployment and testing of DevSecOps infrastructure tools. Performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) duties for a suite of cloud-based and DevOps tools. Supports patching, upgrades, and certification processes for system components, support libraries, and application dependencies. Deploys and configure services using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers. Configures and manage Linux-based servers to support dynamic websites and application environments. Troubleshoots and debug cluster-based computing architectures and container orchestration systems. Uses scripting or basic programming (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate tasks and solve operational problems. Installs, configures, and maintains open-source monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios. Addresses interoperability issues between various tools, systems and platforms in the DevOps toolchain.
