About The Position
DevOps Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference and help build a system that will have a positive impact in the intelligence community? As a DevOps Engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline the sof tware development lifecycle in a multi-cloud Kubernetes environment. Together with a team of experienced professionals, you will support the building and maintenance of a DevSecOps pipeline using the latest open-source technologies. You will use Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) to automate everything from configuration management to infrastructure provisioning. Using your sof tware engineering knowledge, you will work with your team to bring other organizations on board with DevOps and champion the adoption of related processes, tools, and roles. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI / CD pipeline failures or slowness
- 5+ years of experience developing, deploying, and managing cloud applications, including AWS
- 3+ years of experience deploying to and managing applications within Kubernetes using Helm charts
- Experience developing multi-tenant enterprise cloud-native solutions
- Experience working with application development teams across the sof tware development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with DevOps, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with DevOps
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
Nice To Haves
- Experience with scripting or object-oriented programming in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang
- Experience writing IaC with Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Rancher, and RKE2
- Experience using or managing ArgoCD, Grafana, or ElasticSearch
- Experience with Jenkins or GitLab Runners
- Experience with Terragrunt, Pulumi, or Crossplane
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
