About The Position

DevOps Engineer, Mid The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks, ultimately how to “harness the cloud”. We’re looking for a DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll sharpen your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with software development
  • 2+ years of experience building and administering compute instances and services in the cloud and on-premises for development, test, and production environments
  • Experience with container orchestration and application containerization using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience scripting, testing, and deploying new versions of cloud services and infrastructure, including design and management of automation playbooks such as Ansible
  • Experience developing tools, services, processes, and workflows to ensure DevOps pipelines are available
  • Knowledge of Linux administration and networking
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools used to build, evaluate, test, and deploy services, including Kubernetes-based distributions
  • Ability to ensure solutions are security compliant
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and EKS
  • Experience using GitHub Actions
  • Experience with GitOps tools such as Flux and Argo
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security (CKS) Certification
