This role focuses on creating robust CI/CD pipelines, implementing automated validation processes, and ensuring smooth, reliable deployments across development, test, and production environments. The position is part of the Enterprise Work Management Solutions team, supporting enterprise asset and work management applications, specifically IBM Maximo and related industry solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or application deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (SVN / Git).
  • Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite.
  • Experience with RedHat OpenShift and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Experience with Grafana, including dashboard creation, data visualization and alert configuration
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for Maximo applications and related components.
  • Develop scripts and tools for automated validation and rollback processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business analysts to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Monitor and optimize deployment processes for performance, reliability, and security.
  • Manage version control and branching strategies for application code and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide root cause analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and IT governance standards.
  • Support containerization and orchestration strategies (e.g., Docker, OpenShift).
